LimeDomains officially gets launched today, I mean “officially” because as John mentioned we have been around a few months working on strengthening our platform. We’ve focused at making LimeDomains feature rich and a usable platform that offers a rich repository of open source web applications for users, who not only want to be on the web but also want to make their presence felt. We are very happy by the level of acceptance LimeDomains has generated around the world, with our minimal marketing effort.
Our vision stays the same since our inception—bringing down the cost of entry to the web to zero (yep, you read it right), by making super easy to install a gamut of open source applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, phpBB & many more. We completely understand that not everyone on the web is a professional webmaster, so we offered a user friendly interface that enables users to install application in just a click of a mouse.
In a few months, we have reached the milestone of 25,000 active users. These statistics reflect that we have been able to live the Lime Labs vision to a good extent. Everyone says we’re different from others, so do we and we’re putting every bit possible to prove our claim true. We’re a new entrant to this space but we promise to be the most exciting by making it easy for users to create either a 2 page website or a complete e-commerce solution by just the click of a button. Stay tuned for more exciting features, new applications and more innovations to follow.
