Domain Renewal @ LimeDomains

You buy a domain name but stay the owner of it as long as you pay the fee. If you don’t wish your domain to fall into the public basket for sale, you must get it renewed on or before its expiry term.

After domain purchase, you can easily renew its validity period anytime you wish to. For instance, you purchase a domain for your online business in 2008 for 1 year. You can either get it renewed anytime within this 1 year plus a domain-fountain1small grace period (usually 0-40 days).Or else, the other preferred option would be to renew it for ‘1+x’ years. So you would become the domain owner for the term year 2008 + x, where x = number of years you’ve decided to renew the domain name for. Like if you choose x = 3 years then you would own the domain until 2012.

Speaking about the renewal charges, the costs vary for  different TLDs at LimeDomains: (a) .com, .info, .biz, .net, .org, .name for $8.99 (b) .mobi, .me for $14.99 (c) .tv for $29.99 and (d) .cc for $24.99.

Renew to continue owning your domain!

To lessen your worries, you can get your domain name registered for up to 10 years on our platform. However if you don’t renew your domain name and it enters the grace period, it will be parked with us and you can renew it before the expiry of grace period.  domainnames1

If you fail to renew it and the grace period also expires, the domain name enters into redemption period (0-30 days, varies for different TLDs). Since in redemption period the domain name is publicly available for sale and anyone can buy it during this period using back order mechanism, you can check for its availability. If available, you can make a fresh purchase of the domain name.

Also, there are different grace and redemption periods for different TLDs like .info has 15 days and .biz has 0 days of grace period.

How to renew your domain name at LimeDomains?

Once your domain expiry term approaches, we send you a reminder approximately 90 days before at an interval of 10 days to your email account with which you registered on LimeDomains.

You can easily view and renew your expiring domain names at ‘My Account’ overview page or ‘Bulk Renewal’ page (in case you own multiple domain names). However, domain name renewal takes some time (1—24 hours) for complete process. In case the renewal does not take place within this time frame, full money would be refunded to you.

It’s also to be taken into consideration that once your domain name expires, your email account remains suspended and all aliases/auto-responders/forwards would be deleted. But if you renew it successfully, your email account will soon resume its activity.

We hope that you will find domain renewal at LimeDomains quite easy and continue being the owner of your domain name on the Web.
