An open source content management system—Drupal—enables users to manage, organize and publish content on the Web. This SEO friendly CMS, written in PHP, supports RSS feeds, Internet forums, multiple user accounts and can be run from any operating system. It is generally used to setup forums, polls, blogs, wikis etc.
Once you’re done with buying a domain name and a hosting plan on our platform, you can install this application in a few minutes and with great ease. The steps to setup your website on LimeDomains using Drupal are listed as below:
Step 1: Log in to your LimeDomains account. Go to Control Panel -> Create Website.
Step 2: Enter the details related to your domain name and hosting plan and proceed. A message that your website has been successfully created appears.
Step3: Click on ‘Applications’ tab under the ‘Hosting Management’ section of ‘Control Panel’ in your account.
Step 4: Select ‘Drupal’ and click on the link of ‘Install’.
Step 5: Click on ‘Installation URL’ tab on the ‘Application Management’ page after installation. Select the language of installation and check on the requirements and click on ‘Next’.
Step 6: Go to Database Configuration page. Enter the database name, which was selected while installation and the required dbusername along with its password. Click on ‘Save and Continue’.
Step 7: Enter the site name and its email address. Now enter the admin user name and an email address, which is same as site email by default. Click on ‘Save and Continue’.
Step 8: Click on ‘Visit your new site’.
